USE OF PRIVATE VEHICLES FOR SCHOOL BOARD BUSINESS
AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY COVERAGE
The Orleans Parish School Board recognizes that employees may need to use their own vehicles for business related travel. In order to receive reimbursement for travel expenses, employees shall be required to maintain adequate automobile insurance coverage in an amount that meets at least the minimum requirements of Louisiana law or in higher limits stipulated by the School Board. Verification of such coverage may be required in order to be eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses.
