NOLA-PS Issues Statement about Return to School

(New Orleans – December 30, 2021) — In preparation for the return to school next week, NOLA Public Schools administration is continuing its close work with its health advisors, city of New Orleans health officials and the Louisiana Department of Health. In advance of this return, the administration has made additional COVID-19 testing resources available to schools that have requested it and is continuing to provide individual guidance and supports to schools.

Schools will reopen as planned next week unless individual schools have challenges. If individual NOLA Public Schools identify challenges related to the return to school, those families will be notified directly by their school.
