NOLA Public Schools’ Central Office Will Close Thursday Due to Tropical Storm Conditions

(New Orleans – June 17, 2026) — In accordance with state and local safety guidance, NOLA Public Schools' (NOLA-PS) Central Office (2401 Westbend Pkwy, NOLA 70114) will be closed to the public Thursday, June 18, due to a tropical storm threat, with forecasts calling for heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding throughout the region. The NOLA-PS Central Office will also be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

NOLA-PS is actively monitoring severe weather conditions and forecast developments. As the projected path and impacts of this storm continue to change and evolve, updates regarding normal operations will be shared as new information becomes available.
