Office of Student Enrollment

The Office of Student Enrollment provides students and families with the opportunity to choose a school that best suits their interests and needs through a centralized enrollment process. This department manages OneApp, the unified application process, which offers students the opportunity to easily apply to all participating schools using one application. K – 12 Families may apply to a maximum of 12 participating schools of their choice, anywhere across the city. The application is open to families who are new to New Orleans, new to public school, or who would like to apply to transfer for the upcoming school year. OneApp has adapted over time to include a diverse portfolio of schools with various programming models, governance structures, and admissions criteria. For enrollment inquiries, please contact us:

Family Resources Centers

Family Resource Centers serve New Orleans from three convenient locations. Visitors are welcome to drop in on an as-needed basis during our operating hours:
Monday – Tuesday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM 
Wednesday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM


All Family Resource Centers provide the following services:

  • Public school enrollment
  • Early Childhood eligibility verification
  • Assistance with OneApp application submission and results
  • School guidance
  • Louisiana Scholarship Program application submission and results
  • Work permits for eligible minors


Please come see us for assistance with any of the above matters. For assistance determining individual school calendar details, uniform requirements and assistance, bus transportation routes, and other daily educational needs, please visit your child’s school of enrollment.
