Student Advisories are composed of student ambassadors from grades 9-12 serving as the voice of their respective student bodies and schools. Participants engage in conversations related to rigorous and diverse academic experiences, robust extracurricular opportunities, comprehensive student support services, fair and consistent school culture and discipline, authentic platforms for student voice and representation, technology, college and career readiness, student leadership, and community outreach.

The council experience will include a five-part leadership series with two in-person gatherings and three virtual sessions throughout the year—beginning with a fall kickoff event and culminating in a special spring celebration honoring our student leaders. Members will also have the chance to participate in a bonus community service activity during the year. We invite schools to nominate outstanding student leaders, such as Student Council or SGA members, Student Ambassadors, or students who serve in other school-based leadership roles. Students may also apply directly with a parent or guardian’s consent.
