Public Notice: DLFA

Per policy DCBA, the District Level Funding Allocation, this serves as official public notice that NOLA-PS will be analyzing and potentially updating the DLFA for implementation in the 2025-2026 school year.  Per policy we will also be posting this information on the NOLA-PS website, and we will email all school operators in Orleans Parish.  The CFO will be selecting members of the ad hoc working group and will review the implementation and impact of the current funding computation and any proposed modifications with school operators.  There will be a public meeting to present the proposed changes to the funding computation and solicit feedback.  After that there will be a presentation of the final revised funding computation to the School Board and school operators at a School Board meeting no later than January 31st. The CFO will provide updates on the process at regular finance committee meetings throughout the process.
