Parent Advisory Council Application Launch

NOLA Public Schools is excited to launch our 2019-2020 Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council. Last year, the parents weighed in on major policies like transportation pick up times and geographic priority in enrollment, evaluated new charter applications, learned about how our unique system works and created recommendations for the Orleans Parish School Board. This year’s group will include a mix of parents who served on the last year, new applicants, and schools with PTOs will have the opportunity to send a representative to serve on the council. Applications will be available online beginning Friday, September 13, 2019. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 4, 2019.
